ANALISIS KELIMPAHAN MIKROPLASTIK PADA BIVALVIA DI PERAIRAN TUMINTING DAN MALALAYANG KOTA MANADO

Microplastic as a marine debris is currently become global problem. Tuminting and Malalayang coasts the study case in this research because these places were located high population anthropogenic activity areas, that allowing microplastic pollution. The goal of are to identify types microplastic, analyze abundance evaluate differences accumulation bivalve from Malalayang, Manado. This used purposive sampling method. analysis bivalves following C. M. Boerger et al. (2010) methods. average for three species Cardidae sp. Was 5.75 particles/g, Venridae 17.05 particles/g Mytilidae 130.06 while 50.87 9.56 6.93 particles/g. Based on Kruskal Wallis 0.087; 0.616. morphometric correlation test using Spearman Rank showed result 0.05 0.187 Malalayang. microplastics found fragments, films, fibers, foam, pellets, granules highest one fiber. In study, also waters, so it was necessary disseminate information public about dangers plastic. There must be government regulations regarding coastal area management related garbage waste have make another identification chemical containing bivalves.
